CDERP College · Practitioner training

Where disability employment practitioners are made.

The College develops the workforce durable employment depends on: practitioners trained to a standard the field has rarely been able to teach. Five programs, all grounded in the Centre's framework tools.

ACRE-aligned

Certified Customised Employment Practitioner

Australia's only ACRE-aligned Customised Employment training: a credentialed pathway that takes practitioners from Discovery through to durable placement, at fidelity.

Organisational quality

Fidelity in Practice

Training staff is only the beginning. Completing training does not mean the intended practice is being delivered consistently, or that participants are experiencing the quality of support the organisation believes it provides. Fidelity in Practice helps employment professionals and organisations close that gap: recognising practice drift, using evidence rather than assumption, and treating fidelity as a tool for better practice rather than inspection.

For practitioners, practice leaders, managers, L&D and quality staff · applicable across disability, inclusive and mainstream employment services

Measuring quality

Fidelity in Practice: Measuring Quality in Employment Services

A service getting someone a job does not by itself show that good Customised Employment practice occurred. This course teaches people delivering CE or CE-informed services how to test what they claim about the quality of their practice against the evidence, using the CDERP fidelity suite, and how to use that evidence to improve what they do, and to support the quality claims they make to the NDIS and Inclusive Employment Australia.

For organisations and sole traders delivering Customised Employment or CE-informed services

Employer engagement

Building Employer Relationships That Last

Employer engagement is not the number of contacts made. It is the quality of the relationships built, what they make possible, and whether they hold when employment becomes difficult. This one-day course develops the judgement to read, build and govern employer relationships that employers value and participants can rely on.
